There are many, many additional Pockett, Pocket, Pokit, Pouget, Puckett … people’s details to be found via the Index of Names link These mainly oriiginate from UK censuses and birth & marriage records (thanks to the LDS church and Gordon Beavington) but also from other Pocketts who are collaborating and adding their family history research to this combined resource. Please direct all enquires about this information to my brother, John Pockett, who can be contacted at jpockett@chariot.net.au. The data on living and dead people born less than 100 years ago has been removed and their name replaced with ## followed by the record-number (eg. ##1234) in order to preserve the whole families but ensure privacy. In some cases people identified as living may not actually still be alive. If any records of people born less than 100 years ago have actually slipped through the mesh then very strong apologies.
